Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Sunrise Elementary–Home of the Scorpions! As the new principal of Sunrise, I am honored and excited to be leading the charge into what should be an amazing year for our student, staff, and school community. 

The teachers, support staff, and administration of Sunrise are committed to creating a school culture in which every student can thrive and achieve academic, social, and personal success within a safe, nurturing school environment.

In order to help ensure student success and build a positive school culture, it takes a team effort. As parents and community members, you are a vital part of the Sunrise educational team. Communication, participation, and governance are three features that help to define and build effective parent and community involvement within schools. This year, let’s all work together to enhance and build a stronger Sunrise school community.
